i am feeling the same way you are man. its like, why am i wasting my money on something thats going to sit there? but when they come, i will probably feel great again. same with hockey masks.. if you do it all the time, its not a hobby, and thus, it takes the fun out of it.. everything in moderation i suppose. Good points guys! I\'ve contemplated selling off my entire collection numerous times... but I just sleep it off and it goes away eventually. If I were to sell my collection right now, I could easily pay off my $7,000+ in college loans that I owe. But what\'s the fun in that? Horror masks/props are what keep me young at heart and getting rid of that will just make me feel like a miserable old man. Don\'t let your stuff go because I can almost guarantee you will regret it down the road. The best way to look at your collection is like INSURANCE... a cushion to fall back on if you will. Only sell a mask if you MUST to pay for something of more importance at the time. I sell about 1-2 masks a month, but end up replacing them with a higher quality piece or something that really appeals to me at the time. As a matter of fact my collection has doubled in the last 4 months and I only plan to keep it coming... now I just need a house so I can properly display them all.

Jason7 is right when he calls them Art. Everyone I know collects something. Whether it\'s stamps, pez dispensors, dvds, clothes, autographs, concert ticket stubs,.something. For me I like masks. They\'re like floppy busts imo. I hardly ever wear them. I just like looking at them as art pieces and sculptures.

And yeah, that wonderful feeling when you have a new box-o-art sitting on your doorstep is priceless. Whether it\'s latex, a Hockey Mask, or a bunch of Fright-Rags T shirts. It\'s always a great feeling.

And personally speaking, when the art/product comes from someone I know, or a friend, it actually seems to mean alot more to me. Cuz I know the person and I know the work that went into it.

It\'s like a box of passion, no matter what\'s inside.

    And who wouldn\'t want that?
