Here is my personal "2003 Don Post". I converted this one awhile back to add to my collection. I really took my time on this one and it is extremely detailed. I used my Psycho 78 as some reference along with several other of my masks. My objective was to give it "worn detail" like I think the hero mask would have had late in the filming of H1. I have added real glue strips to the side burn area with tiny fragments of hair. I have darkened the hair substantially to give it an H1 feel. I have kept the facial detail clean (not H2 style) and revealed flesh tones around the neck and sides of the face. This paint style makes the face protrude forward in low light and it looks pretty freaky!!! If you notice in H1 when Mikey is coming out of the dark behind Laurie, you can tell that the face is much brighter white than the sides of the face and neck. BUT, in no way am I comparing this mask to the hero, hehe, just the paint technique! Anyway, this mask is very, very impressive in person and I am extremely pleased with it, and that says a lot coming from me! Probably the best DP you will ever see! I even have the DP tag un-cut, hehe!
