Some Info On The "friday" Remake

That bald bastard better run if they are to make another Jason flick. I think its still speculation and rumors that its a \'remake\' because some sources are saying its just another one with some backstory. To remake Friday the 13th and not have Pamela as the killer would not make sense... and to remake it with Pam wouldn\'t be very interesting because finding out the killer was a woman was a big surprise when you first watched the original. Anyway, Jason better RUN!

to each its own but ruining a charater that fans love and messing up the story isnt what i call caring bout what the fans want..and only the vs was 2 disc and as far as crappy dvds the movies are old i dont think they can get any clearer..new line turned jason into a body jumping demon,then a odd looking space cowboy,then a too tall frankenstein myers walking sissy boy,i wouldnt call that love.. new line doesnt respect the charater there jsut whoring it out to make all the money they can which is why the movies make no sense to the previuos.. no company will love jason like fans do it will always be money... paramount, newline whoever..but the writers and directors for the previous films kept some continuality to them as far as characters and the look of jason himself..the people who worked on 9x vs didnt ,

Just because they got a bug up there ass to do something new..i like to see what people would think if a halloween film was sold to lets say lions gate and the next halloween film had myers in a white painted spock mask and then he was killed and a demon came out his body and was crawing into others and, then he had to find laurie and crawl up her moose knuckle to be reborn..

THEEEENNN he get frozen and wakes up in space and blows up and becomes uberfied only to have the next halloween him fight pinhead and myers would be running in this movie and be freakin 7 ft tall and weigh about 250 lbs and have as back story of him scared of pumkins..then daddadadadadad a new remake of halloween without loomis and have myers doing all kinds of weird stuff would they be good since there giveing the fans more halloween movie which is what we all want right??>?

I\'m looking forward to this, It sound slike it could be a really cool back to basics jason flick. The tcm remake kicked ass and so did Dawn of the Dead. I\'d prefer a remake than to see where Newline would take a sequel.

Way i see it.if there gona put jason in a hockey mask back at cystal lake , make a new sequal.Dont kill jasons past and some of out fav f13ths by making a remake/sequal, but heuy we always have the originals............

Rest assured that some of us fans care about Jason, mike, and we\'re doin what we can to make some fan films. You\'re right about New Line mucking up his story lines and such, but, I\'m glad they change his look around, so that you dont get the same recycled thing over and over again. Freddy\'s appearance for instance, only changed majorly for one flick, and that was New Nightmare.

But who knows... there isnt really a whole lot we can do. Just wait for my FvJ sequel though. I\'m only 6\'1, and with my boots on, I\'m 6\'3. We\'re doin the fans justice!!

freddy changed alot the gloves the hat the pants the makeup all different but nothing as big as hell x and vs.. they need to wise the hell up make a prequel to 9 start in the damn sewer then tommy hears bout this goes back to CL where jason is on his way back too Jason kills these 2 people doing the spider monkey and bam a great beggining...and reclycing whats good is good new and fresh crap belongs to new movies and new monsters not classics

This is all an interesting read, but in all honesty. After the original Friday the 13th, they were made for profit. That\'s typically what sequels and prequels are made for, unless it\'s a trilogy. It\'s rare that many people involved in making them care about the characters. And let\'s face it, Friday the 13th movies aren\'t the movies to watch if you want an intelligent movie. Bad acting, bad continuity, tons of "bloopers". It\'s all entertainment, baby. It\'s a, f*n mongoloid in a hockey mask. Low brow, and nothing to put alot of importantce on.

neither is a guy u wants to be jason and hangs out with turtles. :down: .but the point is the older films were better than newer films all made for profit know one cares about fans but the older ones went in order and were good slashers unlike the newer ones thats the only point im trying to make
