I saw the Exorcist back in 74 when it just came out,I was seventeen then.At that time nothing like that had been seen before,we were used to Hammer films and such. The film scared the crap out of me,I love a good horror film, but nothing has ever frightened me like that one did.I can,t imagine a contemporary film having that effect nowadays, they do shock and thrill us,they do not make us sleep with the lights on,the Exorcist did.
    Fine people I,ve dealt with:- Myers413, Mrmorningside,KrazyKen,fright-rags,Mark Goodsen,Erich Lubatti,The GreenGhoul a.k.a Mr Mabry,Warlock,JWolf1277,

I find it very hard to find a scary movie. I worked at Blockbuster for a long time and people used to ask "What\'s a good scary movie?" I\'d reply by saying "They don\'t make them anymore"

I\'ve seen a few that I found disturbing, like The exorcism of Emily Rose.

The only movie I recall (in the last 10 years anyway) giving me that weird feeling in my stomach was The Blair Witch Project. I know I know! But it got me.

    Fun post!!!

this was hard, iknow a few movie scenes that has freak me out as a kid

The scene in Nightmare on elmstreet part 1 when Nancy takes a bath... o god, i had some hard problems to bath with bubles after that when i was a kid for many years.

But if i shoud say one movie it is gonna be "The shinning" with Jack Nickolson. And still today i think the movie is pretty scary, and also one of the best movies i ever have seen.

I agree about The Exorcism of Emily Rose. It was pretty creepy and disturbing.

As for The Blair Witch Project.....I remember when that was in the theatres, people were saying it was the scariest movie since the Exorcist.

I just don\'t see it. lol Looks more like a fan film.
But, it sure did scare some people.

The Hills Have Eyes - scary film!
