    Scariest film ever?

Either the Exorcist or Mariah Carey\'s Glitter.

Both films I had nightmares about.

    Got a few...
First off, that damned werewolf in Silver Bullet, I used to think he was under my bunkbed as a child.
The Exorcist to me is still the scariest movie I\'ve ever seen, and I agree, exorcism stuff scares me.. Except for Exorcist 2 and Amityville 2. Big Grin
Event Horizon was scary too. Wolfen used to scare me quite a bit as well. Pet Sematary is another one for sure.
Other movies that aren\'t labeled horror, but did creep me out were, in the Neverending Story.. the giant Wolf in that. And in the Princess Bride, the big rats in the swamp... I swear those used to run around my bed while I was sleeping when I was a kid..
Slashers are cool, but when it comes to being a true scary movie, they fall so short of that heh.

when I was a kid there was two films that really affected me to the point of affecting my behavior in the real world. One of those films was Jaws. I couldn\'t even swim in the swimming pool after watching that movie. The second film was Psycho. After the first time I saw that movie as a kid I showered with the curtain open for weeks LOL.

Pet Sematery kept me from walking beside beds, the Exorcist made me fear walking into a room with its door closed, Childs Play 2 kept me from going into dark places, the Leprachaun kept me from going into kitchens alone, and Halloween kept me from walking down stairs the right way. So, those movies scared me have to death.

You wern\'t alone there. Very clever story and the ending in the old basement got me too. It\'s not always what you see on screen, but what your imagination fills in.
