    hey everyone,
I just got back from a nice getaway to the land east of me, Canada. While I was there I hooked up with some mask maker named Bob and stayed at MMFX studio. I have an all new respect for what Bob and other makers go through to deliever us these peices of art. The total process to bring us a single peice is long and tiresome. Bob and I colabarated on a peice, so he could show me the entire process from start to finish. Our time was limited so we moved swiftly and stayed up later than hell. We did a peice that based off of what we had in our head and no ref pics were used.(Bob just basically listen to me talk and give my 2 cents while he chipped away at the clay, lol). The peice came out looking awesome, and it was unbelievable the high level of quality it has, giving our short time frame. Bob is one talented artist, seeing what I saw was really an eye opener to me and my respect level has grown tremendously. I want to thank Bob and his family for opening there home and hearts to me, my wife and brother-in-law. I encourage any collector to try and visit any mask maker to see what really goes on behind the scenes and to see the blood, sweat and tears these gentleman have to induer to bring us these peices of Horror art to life. It will shed a whole new light on this hobby and you will earn the upmost respect for the people that bring us our favorite monsters. Thanks again Bob, Don & Deb. We miss you guys already.

Also ran into this really, really big guy from wrong turn !!! Garry Robbins

That is cool as hell Paul, and I knew Bob is a real stand up guy! Glad to say he\'s a countryman, and also means no borders to cross if I pay him a visit  Get a cot ready man, and start the BBQ, I\'ll pick up some road kill, and a hitch hiker or 2 on the way.
Damn nice final outcome on the mask, adds a whole nother level to it being there step by step watching it come together eh
