I mix 50/50 latex house paint with liquid latex, then thin that with like 20-30% water...works great with the airbrush.

Thanks for all the feedback guys.

I\'ve been meaning to pick up horrorhound #1, this just clinches it. Thanks J.

Where do you get your liquid latex from?

What model airbrush are you using? I\'ve been looking into the Badger 350..
I\'ve heard some work better then other with a 50/50 mix like that...

I wouldn\'t get a badger 350 its a real pos I\'d try to get a gravity fed brush. I just got an iwata Eclipse BS, it\'s a decent brush and very affordable.

Not to mention I believe the badger 350 is a single action brush. Not good for detail work. The Iwata BS is a great brush, it\'s what I\'m buying for trying latex too. .5mm needle so it won\'t clog too easily.
My Richpen is a .3mm and clogs every 2 minutes...

A little lube on the needle helps prevent dry tip and cloggong with acrylics and latex too.

FYI I have not done too much painting buy I have researched this stuff so much on the internet and books and videos that I feel like I have gone to college for mask making. PLUS I was trained by Justin Maybry.... I just live in a 700 square foot one bedroom condo, wich leaves no room for mask making (or mess making). I am one of those guys that likes to help people by answering questions, but I don;t actually do snigglesnarm.... YES I have become \"that guy\" :ermm:

How is the paasche? I\'ve never used one but I\'ve heard they\'re very hard to work with.

There about as hard to work with as single button mouse. (my best analogy ever!)

Seriously....the best tool for base painting. The "H" that is.....
