just curious and wanting to ask any 360 owners about the nyko intercooling fan.

i bought one and have been using it as it does indeed keep the box cooler.....

do any of you guys own this?

and also, do u think its a waste of xbox power to run this thing?

my box is in a generally good spot, where air can circulate nicely....

also has the fan ever caused any \"flickering spotted red lights\" to occur on the tv screen? its really on visable on a black loading screen....but ive actually experienced this...

so yea, in short, do u own the intercooler? has it casued problems for u? or helped?

I have the one made by Pelican and havent had any problems out of it yet. Keeps the system cool, etc etc etc. I almost picked this one up, but found the pelican one instead.

But those things dont really use too much power, so it can\'t be too much of a problem.

is overheating really such a problem with the 360 that you need a seperate fan to cool it?

seems like for a $400. system it should keep itself cool. Then again we\'re talking about Micro$oft.

nah, most ppl argue the fan is a waste of money...

as long as u set it up in a nice spot where air can get to it....your golden
stats are in favor of the 360 not overheating....

im just a paranoid kind of guy and do whatever i can to prevent any chance of anything

I second that! If I\'m paying $500 on a system, I wanna make sure it lasts. Plus it only comes with a 3 month warranty, then if it screws up it costs like another $150 bucks to send it back and have it fixed.

I\'ve only had mine a few weeks though, had to go buy it for Dead Rising lol.
