    Quote:Did I read this right? You had to take off the costume to watch the movie?

    Was it a security guard or an actual cop? (If it was a security guard, I would\'ve just told him to f*ck off...)

    Sorry to hear about the negative experience...
    [post=\"184459\"]<{POST_SNAPBACK}>[/post]

    It was a dumbass public safety officer. I wasn talking to the dude one second, and the next he\'s screaming at me for scaring people. Pissed me off badly, but I just emailed the corporate office telling of my ordeal so maybe I\'ll hear something back?

    I\'m gonna go see it again, and not dress up this time though.

    But yeah had to take it to the car before it started......I didnt really want to get kicked out considering I\'d paid for it and wanted to see the movie. Last night was like my only chance to see it anyway due to work.

    I think theatres should freakin appreciate the people who do stuff like this. But nooooo we might scare away the kiddies coming to see Open Season in the month of freakin OCTOBER!

    [/RANT]

    :down:

    But I did scare lots of people, have people want autographs and take pictures for you guys so not too bad right?

    Sorry to hear the fun got shut down. At least you got to have some fun before the guard decided to get upset.

    You know my friends were saying this same exact thing. If I\'d been some random Jedi or some crap, a word wouldnt be said to me.....thanks for all the compliments and comments guys. It means alot to me, seeing that people are this board are somewhat proud of my costume and stuff. Means alot. I didnt really wanna take it myself, but considering I didnt have much money and had to pay 20 bucks to get in.....kinda didnt wanna get kicked out. :down:

    Thanks guys.

    I\'ll let you know if I hear something back though.

    well, at all the theaters in my area...it doesn\'t matter what you dress up as...if you do not go through their corporate offices and have written expressed approval, you are not allowed in the theaters with anything on that covers your face....too much of a safety/security issue. For all they know, you could be getting ready to rob the place...much stranger things have happened....great costume btw...
