Sounds like my neck of the woods guys. There is a new law in NC, that if you wear a mask outside of Halloween you will be arrested on the spot. I asked the officer about it today and he said it was up to the arresting officer but yes you could be, and that you could be arrested if you tot\'d alone and wore a mask and were over the age of 16. You must have a child with you to tot.

    Freakin GAY isnt it?

I live in NC too and heard something about it too. That is pretty lame. I\'d definitely do all I could to fight that filth larn flarm filth in court if I ever got arrested for something so stupid.

Everything I planned went accordingly well except for the speakers that kept playing the music overloaded and shut off (cheap stuff!). But still Halloween did not seem natural. I set up the decos at another location due to construction on my old house. For about the first 2 hours barely any kids came by but by 8pm a lot of kids came by! I was also in constant fear that I might mess up my mask which was also uncomfortable because the sweat turned cold and stuck to my face. :nuke: Every year I used to go out to check out the neighborhoods but this year I stayed at home which was probably why it didn\'t seem natural. This Halloween wasn\'t bad but wasn\'t good... Anyone else have anymore Halloween blues?

Overall I had a pretty decent Halloween. However...

In the afternoon as we finished setting up the yard, some lady walked over from down the block and asked if we were going to be using the chainsaw again this year. We said yes, and she told us she\'d be calling the police again, then walked back home. What a pleasant woman. The cops showed up last year and said 5+ people had called on us. He asked to see the chainsaw, and we showed him it didn\'t have a chain. He complemented us on our good work and drove away...

Also last night, a group of about 5-10 early-highschool-age kids walked up, we started the saw up and they ran off. A few minutes later they showed up again with a backpack and put it down in the street. One of them opened it up and started taking stuff out. Our guy with the saw ran over there and they ran off, leaving the stuff in the street. We walked over to it and they had a carton of eggs sitting there. They managed to throw 1 egg and miss before they took off. We smashed the rest and left the backpack. They came back with more eggs and spread out to try and surround us, but never got brave enough to let them fly.

These same kids have come around the last few years. The year before last my friend got hit in the back and we never saw who did it. Last year a group ran up and said they are the ones who got us last year and threw one at another friend and it bounced of his shoulder and hit the ground. They scattered but we managed to isolate one, and our LF chased him home chainsaw roaring the whole way.
