Ps3 Vs. 360

Thought it would be interesting to see what you guys think of the ps3 and 360. Just post your oppinion on the systems. To avoid the rumbling of the thread, just say your oppinion of the system and not of the oppinion of the other posts. I know some of you all are getting a little anoied buy my console posts, so im sorry. I just think this may help out people (including myself) in deciding which way to go with the consoles. PS3 = overpriced and overrated - the whole blue ray dvd thing is just overboard. Who cares about it? Release games are nothing great either. But b/c it has Sony on it people will buy regardless.

Xbox 360 = fair price and pretty equal graphics to the PS3. Makes an awesome media center and has some kickass titles coming out. If I were to buy another console, this would be my choice.

As of right now I just own a Wii and it is all I need. Zelda, Mario, Wiisports and the interactive fun of the wiimote w/ friends is a blast! I buy beer on the weekends and play bowling all night - i\'m a nintendo fanboy!

I own a 360 and love it. Gears of war is all that I have been playing, just wait until Halo 3 and Halo Wars those games are going to be amazing, just downloaded a halo 3 commercial on my 360 and its badass.

The 360 is the better console. It is just as powerful as the ps3, costs less, and the online component (xboxlive) blows sony\'s away...
Oh and it has dead rising and gears of war...

360 : i own one and have loved playing it every minute . has never messed up on me and the live couldn\'t be any better . amazing games made for live and i like how they are doing the whole backwards compatible so you can still play some of your xbox games .

PS3 : absolutly overrated just because it\'s a sony product . they hyped it up to be the best one out of the 3 next gen systems and it already messed up lol . it\'s way over priced as well and to me is nothing but a $600 paperweight . they promised alot of things on this system and alot of it never happened and why do they keep bragging about it playing blue ray movies ? if they haven\'t forgotten , playing movies on the PS2 caused a problem for alot of people and had to be fixed at least 8 different times until they went to the slim version which i hear is starting to over heat . sony just needs to take their time with making systems or hire smarter people that know what they are doing .

Well I can\'t afford a PS3 at the moment, but as soon as I get the system, I\'ll say its the best thing out there.....cause its Sony. They have all the good titles.....but for the time being I own a 360 and I freaking love it. Finally just got me a play and charge kit!

So 360 for me now, but soon as I get a PS3 I\'ll love it more.

Edit - Oh, and I bought the 360 FOR Dead Rising, and its the best 500 ever spent!

If you own a 360, some other GREAT games to check out are:

Condemned (scariest game since silent hill)
Ghost Recon Advaned Warfighter
F.E.A.R. (same developers as Condemned and pc game of the year last year)
Oblivion (if you like rpgs, this is one of the best ever)
SD vs Raw
Dead of Alive4

Heck there are so many great games out for the 360. Not all are exclusive, but most of my favs are.

Some other games to look out for in the near future are:

Halo 3 (duh)
Too Human
BioShock
Mass Effect
Alan Wake (this is the one I am most looking forward to)

If I had the money to spend on a system I would go with the 360. Never was a big PS fan. I just don\'t play games enough to justify the price tag. I\'d love to have one, though. :wink:
