It pretty cool, but there was a different one on eBay a few years back that was more movie accurate and realistic looking. It was called the \'life-size space slug\'. It was around the same $$$. Damned if I can\'t find the pics anywhere right now.
The one you linked looks more like a lifesize toy. I\'m not going to bash any one that has the balls to take on a massive (literally and figuratively) project like that though. All around an awesome score for someone.

I remember this guy saying on the RPF that he based it off the illusive concepts studio scale one that came out 10 years ago. I think this thing is pretty sweet.
