I used to have a pair sandels that had heels made of a very similar looking material as the mask. Kinda like a foam latex.Rich, you said the mask you owned was spongy, was it kinda like those colored foam "noodles" you see kids playing with at swimming pools and such?

Can you actually see out of them?<!--QuoteEnd</div><!--QuoteEEndYeah you can see just fine out of them . But they are hard lenses as that's the reason for having to wear soft lenses under them . You can't wear them for long periods of time .

Would you happen to have any pics? I'd love to see some more shots!<!--quoteo(post=358670:date=Apr 19 2010, 11:07 PM:name=TheHauntedMuseum)<div class=\'quotetop\'>QUOTE (TheHauntedMuseum @ Apr 19 2010, 11:07 PM) <a href=\"index.php?act=findpost&pid=358670\"><{POST_SNAPBACK}></a></div><div class=\'quotemain\'><!--quotecI actually owned one of the screen-used masks for a while. The latex was "flocked", as they call it. Very soft and spungy. The latex has thousands of tiny "hairs" seemingly coming out of the latex. The rest of the details can be seen right on the photos you have posted here obviously. My mask was not this one. Mine had movie blood around the mouth area for whatever reason, and had traces of sticks, etc from the outside scenes at the end of the film. Pretty cool stuffRich<!--QuoteEnd</div><!--QuoteEEnd

The term used on how this foam latex was worked is called "flocking". I dont really know what that means. I am just repeating it. Here are a couple more shots of my particular mask. Unfortunately, nothing better than what you have here, but i have one super close-up shot where you can actually see the hairs on the mask:For some reason, I can't find the photos I took of the mask in its case, but the photos you guys grabbed off propstore seem to be good. This is the only major one you are missing, a nice close-up (which is hard here because i cant upload anything larger than 300k for some reason):

A member over on MM.net (Dimue) owns a screen used mask from The Collector. He partnered up with an artist friend of his to copy the mask and offer reproductions. They are to be made of foam latex and will be $299 + shipping (in US).

This is a photo posted by Dimue on MM.net.
