On April 4th I ordered a Hes Back from Lubatti. I didnt want to send an email and sound impatient because Im not. Ive just never ordered from him before and wasnt sure how long things normally take. I was just wandering if its been long enough for me to send an email to check on the status.

It's July so yeah, I'd send him an e-mail asking him what's up. He's a trust worthy guy, he probably just got behind in orders or something.

His site indicates 6 to 8 weeks for delivery so you're more than justified to ask for an update. That said, I wouldn't worry about someone like Erich... he has a great name in the hobby. Although I have yet to order from him I wouldn't hesitate to do so.

I'm in my 8th week and I emailed him and he was quick to reply. His reputation is solid so I have no worries, just shoot him an email..........Larry

I've made several purchases from Erich and never had a problem. Extended wait times sometimes, but it's worth it in the end, you'll get your piece.

Hey everyone... Since there's someone here having the same problem as me, I decided to tell you my issue with Lubatti... I ordered a Dream girl bust on March 11th and I still hasn't got it!

I email him I think after the first 3 weeks because I saw someone here posting pics of the same bust and the guy ordered the same day as me... so I was just asking if he has begun my piece... I think that he told me that he was starting mine soon... So everything was fine. After that I contacted him each 3-4 weeks to get some updates on the progress (I often do that with makers).

EACH time I talked to him (after the first time) he always told me that the bust was "nearly completed" and was shipping soon... The bust is "nearly done" since a freaking long time! Later on he even told me that I'd get a free foam fill. I was pretty excited because I don't have any mask foam filled...... But AFTER that I contacted him another 3 weeks later and he told me he was in a rush and he was really busy, ect. BUT that my mask would be shipped before the end of the week and that he would send me some pictures... I still wait for the pictures 3 weeks later... I contacted him last weekend to get some updates... I'll just wait to see what happening this time...

This begin to stress as someone else has the same problem... I know he's trustworthy, but I think there's a time when you just need you s*hit to arrive.

Just to let you know that I kept every exchange we had. Normally I'm very patient, but when the maker tells you your piece is "nearly done" I don't expect to wait another 3 months...

Erich is a good guy and a professional, Knotts berry farms uses lubatti for their halloween street performers. He wont rip you off but sometimes masks take a little while to get out especially with 1 man doing all the work, heck i'm still waiting on a vengeance i ordered from Justin on april 3rd. Best advice is to be patient and send an email to him every 3 or 4 weeks. Believe me though when you guys get your pieces you wont be dissapointed Smile
