Pet Food Recall

I just found out this morning and went to the site listed in the story above. My dog has eaten two cans of the recalled food. It's a ton of different companies and it's cat food AND dog food. Scary stuff, if you have a dog or a cat, look for your brand of food.

Yea, my dog just died after eating Iams food. I've been talking to my vet and lawyer for the past week.It sucks, i had my dog for 5 years. Raised him from a pup.<img src=\"http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v216/princesstifini/morph.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />

I feed my Basset Purina Mighty Dog, it wasn't on that list from menfoods, but that article mentioned that Purina would be taking its food off the market for precaution. I'm going to switch to a different brand just in case then. My boy's been puking a little bit this past week, but I think it's just because of a bone I gave him; it splintered and I believe a couple pieces may have got caught in his throat. wow i am so sorry about the loss . my mom almost fed the cat a can of pet pride this morning not realizing that is one of the brands but luckily didn't . he just turned a year this month and i've raised him since he was 8 weeks . try your hardest to sue the living hell outta them buddy . i know money won't replace the loss of your dog as i've lost many pets but it will serve some kind of justice . mike,

That's very sad, i'm so sorry to hear that buddy. i have lost 3 dogs and it's so upsetting, they are a member of the family after all!

Absolutely true. Sorry to hear about your loss bro. I hope that everyone finds out about it so we don't lose any more pets. I was panicking after reading that because my cat eats Special Kitty, but luckily she hasn't been eating it.
