Well i met up with Wayne/Savage today and we took my eldest Daniel to the show at the NEC in Birmingham, we had a great day and Daniel really enjoyed himself, he'd never been to anything like this before and met Kenny Baker/R2D2, Colin Baker/the 6th Doctor Who.He also met Steve Dash who was a real gentleman who signed Daniels book 'The Real Jason!'and let him have this photo taken with him.<img src=\"http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y116/rustedowg/067.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />We also both got into a bit of trouble with the local authority, at this point wayne had done a runner with the goods and left us to face the LAW!!!!<img src=\"http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y116/rustedowg/075.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />

It was a great day, and really nice to finally meet Darren and his lovely family. Daniel is a great kid and it was nice that he enjoyed it so much! I took a few pics myself, but i was slightly disappointed at the lack of horror stuff there. i enjoyed it though, and am looking forward to collectormania, it will be good to meet up with a few more forum members there too! Steve Dash seemed a nice guy but unfortunately he was not allowed to have his photo taken with us, which was a bit gutting!! I also thought the autographs were a bit on the expensive side. I'd definitely go again but it'll be nice if its a little more horror orientated! I went back to Darren's house after the con and he showed me some of his hockey mask work which i thought was very impressive indeed!! I ended up coming home with a part 4 version 2! It was really great to meet you darren, and i look forward to hookin up with you again soon. <img src=\"http://forums.NIGHTOWLpro.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":thumbsup:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" />
