Cam Question

Hey guys whats the better cam i can buy for like 100-200$??......maybe some of you have some good sugestions.....I really dont want to spend a lot on a cam...im not looking for extreme quality pics,i know i cant have it for this price,But just something who can take good pics.Thanks ALEX <img src=\"http://forums.NIGHTOWLpro.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/cool.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"cool.gif\" />

I would go with a Canon, but thats just me. I got the A610 and dont plan getting another camera for a long time. Canon and Fuji are great brands. Just stay away from Sony! Great for stereos, sucky for cameras!

Go with canon, My bother has the Canon Powershot SD1000, great camera, He's in the cost guard and takes pics from inside helicopters, steady crystal clear images. You can get it at best buy for about $250, $50 more than your looking to spend but well worth it.If you want to spend a little more, I personally recommend the Powershot A640. This is the cam I use for shop pics, takes excellent pics at resolutions nearly 3 times what's considered hi definition. Also serves as a great home video camera. With a 2gb memory card you can shoot an hour of DVD quality video. I paid almost $500 for it with the mem cards, But I see it on sale a lot for $300 – 400.If you want to stay within budget you can go with the Powershot A630, Amazon sells it for $199. It’s just about the same as the A640 except its 8mp instead of 10mp.Add $100 for Accessories, case, charger/batteries and off coarse a memory card, get a 1gb if you plan on taking a lot of pics or video.Hope this helps.Jeff-Oh and yeah, like Darth said, STAY AWAY FROM SONY, I had a Cyber-crap cam, worst camera's you can buy and they are made like sh!t.
