Ihave had some family members give me greif for it, but i look at them and say hey...i could be spending my money on crack or bozzing and passing out in alleys. They normally shut up after that. But over the years alot of my family have started asking if what i have gotten in new and if the collection has grown and for my dvds/vhs/laserdiscs they always want to barrow them.Matt

That\'s usually the way it works out. Family thinks it\'s weird until everyone is over and wants a detailed tour. People usually admit that it\'s a damn cool hobby. There\'s something really stylish about it and not so much geeky..

My family doesn't mind at all. When I first got into collecting, my dad would check out what new stuff I got in, ask what movie installment it was from, just supportive all the way around. Then I started getting into Casey Love pieces, and he went crazy for them because he is a painter. My mom was also amazing when it came to it. One Christmas she found out a couple of masks I was buying from Aaron Lewis, had Aaron tell me he was too tied up to get anymore finished, and then got them for me. lol. She was the greatest, and when I look at my Ghoul and Shock Monster I just get a smile on my face thinking about her.
