I saw Halloween on Thursday night at an advance "invitation only" screening. We arrived over an hour before it started so we could get good seats, as I knew they would give out too many passes. I would say over 2/3rds did not get in! Anyways, I was prepared for a bunch of morons but thankfully and oddly... most of the movie was total silence. Hardly any crowd reactions. I usually only go to the theatre when they first open in the mornings. I will never go opening night again. Too many morons. I have invested in a very large television and a blu-ray player so I am *more* than happy to watch movies at home. <img src=\"http://forums.NIGHTOWLpro.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/cool.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"Cool\" border=\"0\" alt=\"cool.gif\" />

I caught it Friday night at 7:15 and I got pretty pissed off myself. These retarded teenage girls kept getting up during the movie and walking in front of us, like EVERY 10 freakin minutes. Pretty much had the same as you guys had....talking, Cell phones.....oh and the f'n surround sound wasnt working so I could barely hear CRAP during some scenes.Saw it again at my local CRAPPY 4.50 theater and enjoyed it better than seeing it in a high dollar theater. Not much talking at all, and could hear the movie. I actually noticed that Michael grunted alot in certain scenes!

I frequent a movie theatre in the ever so lovely Lowell, Massachussetts. I can\'t go there without telling someone to shut the fu*k up. Then that gets to the point where it almost escalates into a fight, and a stabbing, and me going to jail for attempted murder. My wife loves that. It is hard enough to get her to go see every horror movie that comes to the screen...The thing that sucks about being in your 30s is you really can\'t get into fights with teenagers and not go directly to jail... so fight while you can kiddies!!

The way I look at it is, if I were surrounded by a bunch of thugs and took a few out, I think the cops would understand.lol, besides, I wouldn't kill em, just hurt em really badly. And usually they back off as I really look and act like I could kill without remorse.I am a very grumpy looking sumbitch.lolololSo I have no problem standing up and telling them to shut the fuck up, and pull your pants up.hahahahaha

My experience the other night wasn\'t as bad as I expected. The only \"disturbance\" was some girl in front of me that needed to check her cell every two minutes...we told her to put that shit away, which actually worked, and lasted until the last few minutes of the film when I guess she just couldn\'t wait any longer and had to check those important messages she missed. I just don\'t understand people these days...they seriously cannot be in one place for longer than a minute before they need to check their phones, talk, etc... The interesting thing is that I saw the 7:45 showing and afterwards I was outside the door going into the theater talking to my brothers about it for awhile. Well, the 10:30 show was about to start and I saw even younger kids going into the theater for that showing. I even saw a 4 year old with his parents....WTF? I can\'t say it surprised me too much, though. I\'ve been seeing that for years now. I just don\'t understand parents who take their little kids to these movies (at 10:30pm no less). These movies are not for children...and even if you don\'t mind them watching the films, do it in the privacy of your own home and stop bothering everyone else in the theater when he\'s got to go to the bathroom every minute.Far too many people today lack the mental capacity to operate in public. They don\'t respect others, take responsibility for their own kids, and care about themselves above all else. I used to love seeing movies...but now I cringe everytime I venture out to the theater...or I have to find some off time to go when no one else will be there. I\'d much rather stay at home and watch it there... I have a relatively small set up but it gets the job done and I don\'t have to put up with anyone else\'s crap. Plus, I can pause it to take a leak whenever I want... <img src=\"http://forums.nightowlpro.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"Smile\" border=\"0\" alt=\"smile.gif\" />

most people don\'t understand why I carry a cell phone and keep the ringer off and hardly ever check to see if I got any calls or leave it in my car most of the day or over night sometimes.I didn;t want to bring this up, but here goes...when I went to see TCM remake I was very excited, got to the theatre early, got a good seat. When the movie started a group of eight kids from 12-14 sat in front of me with two white trash adult supervisors. The kids were talking and FARTING through three quarters of the movie, the adults were doing nothing about it. By that time the theatre was full, we could not move to a different seat. I told the woman to tell the kids to shut the fuck up or get the fuck out of here. The people around me actually applaused. Unfortunately after that I was the one who felt like the asshole for swearing in front of little kids, but they probably heard it all before.

Cell phones annoy me more than anything! I have one, but honestly only use like 100 minutes a month. I normally leave my cell on vibrate and come home from work, leaving it in my pocket and forgetting about it. People always ask why I never answer the phone...
