Yup Mike, this is common which is why I\'m very reluctant to ship overseas. I sold a cell phone to a guy in Hong Kong and 3 months later the funds were retracted from my account due to a stolen CC being used. I was out $300 and Paypal does not cover overseas transactions... lame if you ask me.

Keep your receipt from the post office showing that you did in fact send it to that address overseas. When someone files a complaint or trys to retract the funds you can fax that receipt to paypal to verify that you sent it. That should keep the money in your account. At least that is what happened in my case. Good luck bud.

Yeah Mike I had the same thing happen to me. It\'s a nice easy scam that pay pal has made very easy for the person trying to scam the buyer. That\'s why I don\'t like to ship overseas. I shipped a digital camera out and in a few days the guy filed a claim. He got his money back and a free camera. The post office could only trace my package up until when it left the US. I had proof I shiped the item but because I didn\'t have dilevery conformation Pay Pal gave the prick back his money. The post office told me next time if possible to have the buyer pay extra and ship it with insurance and delivery conformation.

Call them back and complain about it. If you give them enough headache, they\'ll consider looking at it again and reconsidering. There should seriously be no reason that the funds were deducted if you sent the item and can prove it to them. Was it insured? If not, you may be f\'d b/c the PO won\'t do a thing to help either.

also point out the fact that you made ten million paypal transactions and nobody has complained, and if it\'s worth it they can check out your e-bay feedback also.

also ask them how many times this person oversees has complained about someone... it could be a few times, then they may see the light.

ask them why they think the person had not contacted you at least once when they didn\'t get the item.

express mail with tracking number is the way to go when shipping oversees, it is much more expensive, but f*ck \'em.. if they don\'t pay they don\'t get it.
