Here is the best I can do. Your rite I don\'t see any stiching. There is some that goes al the way back above the ear lobe but thats it. You can see that in this pic to.

Fred, I\'m pretty sure that the mask is not the hero mask just an unused mask from the production.

well first off, awesome work jwolf, you really outdid yourself man, its looking great.

and 2, guys, im convince that the sculpture photos shown on the 2nd disc are NOT accurate to the mask in the movie, meaning, i think there were several more changes made to that sculpture before it was molded. You can clearly see differences in the mask and those sculpture shots... such as the left(right looking at the pic) ear, in the remake, its a lot more skinny and feminine looking and obviously very different from the other ear which has a fat and larger look to it. im sure that scott stoddard(sp) made changes to the sculpture after those pics were taken.

I agree the sculpture pics in the second video are not entirely accurate because the lips were also changed slightly in the upper side as appose to the mask actualy worn in the movie, so I agree I think that things were changed on the mask before the molding process of the finished sculpture.

correction i found the hole but it\'s slightly behind the earlobe so it is very difficult to see, if you look in the shot on the second cd where he is putting the mask on you can see the hole right behind the earlobe it is very small.

The sculpture was unfinished. That it stated in the post but remember that they had 3 differen masks. The silicone hero wich was much more detaild than any of the others but AB didn\'t like wearing it. The Foamlatex heros/Background masks.

Now with all that said should the long stich on top of the head go all they way back down the back of the mask to the neck?

I would that way somone can adjust it to fit there head. Thatr is a realy big advantage. having all of thse spost sculpted open you can loosen or tighten it if you need to.

good point I will probably do that. On my Unfortunate child mask I sculped it all the way down and left about 6 inches cut open on the back with stuches loose so it could be tightened up in the back, although the mask from the movie is actually adjusted from the left side of the mask so who knows.
