What do you mean "dip" the glove in it? Do I pour the latex into another container and then dip the whole glove in, or do I just paint it on coat by coat? Won't the latex dry out? Not sure if I want a huge tub or not, I may get 32 oz but I do not know how much is enough.I will probably use the same method as I did my other costumes and just make an undershirt so that I can cover up what is needed with the weathered overshirt, then cut out the pieces to reveal it that way. Also what was your weathering techniques for part 7 and 8? Also you said you cut other parts ot and latex them from pants, do you then sew or glue them in? I would probabaly glue them then sew them to be extra secure.Does latex ruin the paint brush?

I read that you have to use a sealer on latex? <a href=\"http://www.symtoys.com/ideas_misccatsuit.html\" target=\"_blank\">http://www.symtoys.com/ideas_misccatsuit.html</a>What all would work, or is this really necessary? Does it stick to other latex when fully dry and painted? I would not think so once painted. Would modge podge work? Maybe gloss for the wet look on part 8, and regular on part 7?

if you use a regular paint brush...yes...it does ruin it from future use. Anything that latex gets on will pretty much ruin it so be aware of what you have on and where you do this. I have never put sealer on any latex i have done. I do aways put a light coat of powder on each of the latex pieces to make sure they do not stick. Latex will stick to another piece of latex unless you do that. In order to get a wet look I have used both glossy modge podge and regular latex with no colorant. Both achieve a nice wet look after multiple coats. Modge podge is not stretchable like latex though.take care,Tommy

Modge podge sucks on fabric.Steer clear.It makes the fabric almost brittle.It is good for mask displays where you just have that little bit of the shirt for looks, but not for wearing.Latex works for a little gloss, but on dark fabric it leaves a white residue when it dries, found that out and had to give the shirt a few spritzes of spray paint to darken it up a bit..Perma wet is usually what people use for wet looks.

I used fabric glue to achieve the wet look, and modge podge mixed with 50% actually. Will latex still stick to itself after it is dry? What about after you paint it? It shouldn't then. At least my latex masks don't lol.

I think I am going to look for an under armor shirt since it is flexible, then maybe just make the whole shirt for each costume. Or maybe cut off the sleeves at the elbow after the arms/gloves are made.

You could probably use knee high socks too. Just cut out holes for you fingers.How do you make a latex mask look wet? That's my question.
