Meh, I hate ebay. Kept getting scammed by people not sending what I ordered so haven't used them in nearly 2 years and don't plan to unless they get their sh*t straightned out. Their new feedback system is a joke.

Well,I just sent this to him:Hi, I thank you for bidding on the mask. Just wondering if you saw this on one of the message boards I posted it on.Also If you ultimately win, will you be using paypal? That is the only way I can guarantee shipping by Halloween. -------Pat

Dont trust them...I have had so many deadbeats with 0 or even 2 feedbacks.... And its odd, it happens generally when i sell mask items, nothing else....so that tells me, there is one among us..LOL..But seriously, i had auctions end with buy it now's or winning bidders with 3 or less feedbacks and was basically screwed every time. I even had one nut go as far to say, im sending you a Money order and send me a delivery confirmation number of the payment...>But guess what, the payment was going to another state...oh and his name...JASON MYERS...LOL........Through all this, i only sell BUY IT NOWS and the bidder will have to pay first to win......its the only way! Also, if a bidder is legit and NEW, he can verify himself with ebay. I dont know how it works, but the bidder pays a fee to verify all his information is real and legit! Look into that as well.Hope we all helped you out!Good Luck!Andrew

Yup... I only do BIN's on eBay...As for zero bidders, when you are the one doing the bidding, I always tend to think that its a friends (or spouses account) of the seller to bid up the item. I saw a mask on eBay in the last couple of weeks that was only worth $40ish USD, and the bidding was run up TWICE in 2 different auctions for the same item. It wasn't a 0 bidder, but its a hella coincidence that the person jacking up the bid had exactly 77 feedback both times. They ran the bidding up to nearly $400 on both the original auction, and the relist. Yet, the seller received feedback on the first sale, then magically had the EXACT same mask for sale (which was a mass produced repaint). Now, I might be jumping the gun on it, and maybe he had 2 masks and maybe it was the same guy from the first auction trying to win the second one, but it still seems pretty suspect to me. I don't recall for sure, but I think the winning bid the first time around was a 0 bidder. Probably a junk eBay account to make it look like 2 separate competing bidders to anyone that was interested in the mask. Or maybe a junk account in case they got caught. Who knows? In any case, thats why I only do BIN's, and why I never place more than a couple of bids on any one auction. No bid wars here. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"biggrin.gif\" />

How do you go about making an ebay account without first having started at 0 Feedback? I've had three accounts reach over 20,000 feedback... though they all got disabled for some virtual good policy infraction that was implemented a few years ago. I had to start my newest account over at 0 feedback. I think I'm only up to like 5 or 6 atm, as I stopped using ebay and now use my own site for selling stuff.
