Anyone know of the best way to get rid of roaches? Right now my house is infested with the little bastards. Foggers didn't really help much and we can't afford the call an exterminator. Does anyone have any advice on how to get rid of the little critters? Last year we had a rat problem but after turning a couple of stray cats into pets, that was quickly taken care of. Tobad cats don't eat roaches.

Go to your local Lesco/John Deere Landscapes. We sell a product called Maxforce. You can get gel baits or traps and they are commercial/ Resturant grade. There is also a product called "Seige" this works extremely well, just be sure to read the label front to back before you apply it. The "Exterminators" buy from me and they dilute the products down to a low low level so they have to make re-treatment service calls. If you got any questions or anything drop me a PM and ill help you out.Matt

Live it up and reinact that awesome scene from Creepshow.Roaches rule!!j/k I'd just go ahead and bite the bullet by calling an exterminator. It will only get worse... those little guys multiply quicker than you can count.

Hey man, that sounds nasty. We dont get that problem here in the UK, instead I have to deal with slugs in my kitchen the whole time. I dont know if this is any use, but, I put down either beer or bleach and that sorts them out. Hope thats of some help. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/teehee.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":teehee:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"teehee.gif\" />

I used to have a bad roach problem in the house I lived in when I was younger, we found that no product you buy works, the only thing that got rid of them forever was an exterminator. Roaches are pesky little bastards, as I'm sure you know, so you might just wanna save up for one. By the way, never step on one, when you step on them their egg sacks come out and you will have more on your hand.

Just step on 'em! Hope you don't have the jumbo "waterbug" variety we have here in the city!Boric acid is what all NYers use. A little bottle of white powder. You sprinkle it in corners, crevices and other recessed areas in your home....The bastards walk on the stuff and it sticks to them.....when they go back to the nest.....it kills them all there.

ya like everyone said you got to call an exterminator. when i was a kid we had a nasty problem with them from some people that moved into the flat avove us.the exterminator also had us take all of our furniture, electronics and belongings into storage and have everything sprayed bi-weekley for 4-6 months. i guess this was the best way to insure that not ONE of those lil bastards was left. as ya only need one to reproduce into thousands.was a shitty time. good luck with that, hope all works out for you.

I always had great success with Combat brand roach traps. They eat the bait and take it to the nest and kill everyone with it, or something.
