I am all for a new Nightmare On Elm Street movie.I would love to see a dark creepy version of Freddy played by Viggo Mortensen.

that sounds good. just like the 1st ANOES film. and i also like this part: "It's not Freddy cracking jokes. We want to make a horrifying movie. The concept is so scary, don't fall asleep or you'll die. This guy gets you when you're most vulnerable, in your sleep".

Im realy looking forward to this one!!! as much as i love Robert as Freddy i think its time for someone new and a fresh start and make Freddy scary as hell again.Robert will never be beaten as the dream slayer thats a FACT!! and im hoping he does get a part in the new re-vamp.

Not that I'm a NOES fan, but I don't see anyone else playing Freddy other than Robert Englund......that's his role for life.

Wow! Another NOES film......sweet! I wanna see Amanda Krueger locked in the insane asylum and then fast forwarding to his birth, then his childhood, then I wanna see his abusive stepfather with a teenage Fred. Then Fred playing around with razors and maybe a flick/butterfly knife just for kicks. Then I wanna see Freddy kill his stepfather and maybe keep his hat,lol. Then it would be cool to see him as a janitor, cleaning toilets and being disrespected, then to see his wedding day and then fast forward to seeing his daughter taken away from him and then him going totally nuts! Then a Christmas scene where his wife gives him "the sweater," then him killing his wife (for screwing up the turkey) and him hiding out in the old power plant where its shown how he "makes the glove," and keeps dozens of bodies hidden away and finally the parents of his victims lighting the match and vroom - up in smoke where slap, bang, thud, the Nightmare On Elm Street remake begins!!! Haha, do you think I'm asking for too much?
