The cameos by Brad and Angelina were a little lame, and I really didn't care for Linsay Lohan's portrayal of Pamela Voorhees, but aside from that it was pretty good.

Personally, I wish they would have left out the scene right before the scene at the end where Jason rips off his mask and starts screaming "IT'S PEANUT BUTTER JELLY TIME!"

I really liked that scene with Jason and his mother, very touching. Her line "Life is like a sharpened machete", that just really got to me. Not a dry eye in the theater.

If you're just looking for an opinion of how we personally feel about this new Jason movie then I'm going to be as blunt as possible. I think it's a completely shitty idea and so far, all of the previews I've seen look fucking stupid. Jason, Freddy and Michael are movies that just shouldn't be touched yet in my opinion. Jesus, all of these films have had sequels in recent years (especially if you include Freddy vs. Jason) and it's just a terrible idea in my opinion to start this "Re Imagining" shit with them. I'm sick of seeing my favorite films being turned into what someone else thinks they should have been. The first time I ever saw Nightmare 1, I was at a kiddy halloween party and I couldn't have been more than 8 years old. I can remember debating what Freddy's voice sounded like with other kids, knowing that my impression and description was the most accurate. In closing...as far as my opinion goes...FUCK the NEW Jason, FUCK a "Re Imagining" of Freddy, FUCK Rob Zombie and what he's done to Halloween, but most of all...FUCK REMAKES!-Joseph(pardon my language but I'm touchy about these films)

To be honest, from what I see.... This seems like a prequel of the VS Jason... and I HATED that Jason.This one is no exception.How DARE they even try to say "Our Jason is new because he moves faster!" Have you not seen parts 2-5? He runs in all of those.Well, I can't say much yet, I'll have a more justified opinion after the movie is released.Hell, this one doesn't even look as entertaining as Halloween, and I didn't like that remake either. Fortunetly, the TCM remake was fantastic, and I hope Nispel put as much effort into this one as TCM.
