I really should if it happens again. Usually at work it happens a lot- we open at 1 and we always tell USP shippers to deliver after 1. A few times we got phone calls from the pizzaria next to us that they had a package for us. It's crappy because we will have a package of $1300 worth of body jewelry sitting next door that can easily be stolen.

You guys want to know whats the wiredest thing about this. Well im a stalker. When I know im getting something in the mail, I sit there and wait for it. My mail man always comes betwen 12:00 and 1pm. Rarely has he come at 10 am. So I know that between 12 and 1, I should hear someone knocking at my chamber door. Well I had my mom at the docs, and I told her I would leave her there, and go back home. Untill the package came. Then I would go back and pick her up. When I get to my house the mailman had already been there, cause my letters were there. Now when I look at the tracking online it said it was deliver at 4pm. How could that be, if he already had come ?? Something fishy about this.

So far, FedEx has been the only delivery company that has been responsible enough to not leave packages outside my door for any passer-by to steal. USPS and UPS have both done this multiple times despite me asking them not to. The simple fact is that if the shipper doesn't specify some type of service that requires a signature, then they can leave it wherever they want.

My house is pretty old, and when it was built it was originally facing an old road that does not exist anymore. Now the new road goes along the side of the house, there for, you have to litterally enter my yard and drive completely around the house to get to the front porch. My yard is also pretty big as well.Whenever USPS or UPS delivers a box, they get lazy and simply sit the box by my front gate. This really irritates me because if Im not home for a day or so, it could get rained on, damaged, or even stolen. My dad is currently making UPS pay for 2 jackets he ordered online that were carelessly left by our gate and then stolen.Bastards <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/down.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"down.gif\" />

My UPS man always leaves packages on my front porch, rarely ever do I find a note on my door. Most of my orders have been computer parts, and usually in bulk, so it can be quite expensive. I also live on a major street and a few blocks away from me is a bad neighborhood. I've never had anything stolen but I am always afraid that it will happen.I've even ordered smaller computer parts before (smaller package), few days later hear my name being called from the front of my house, I open the door and the UPS man tosses the package at me instead of walking up the steps.

All my packages have been left on my porch. Sad thing is, even if I'm home, they don't ring the bell or knock, they just leave it there. The worst was when I had a new modem coming in, I heard the UPS guy outside, and right when I open the door, he had just <i>thrown</i> the box about 5 feet so that it hit and slide into my screen door. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/verymad.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":verymad:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"verymad.gif\" /> Needless to say I yelled a few choice words, although he probably didn't hear much through my screen door.
