Wow this is absolutely the most AMAZING news. I wasn't sure what to believe at first, I didn't think the Part 1 would surface. But with those comparison shots, I'm 100% convinced this is the real deal. That guy is one LUCKY dog...

That is very cool for the horror world and film history as well. Now what I wonder is what kind of replicas will we be seeing now with these close-up, high-resolution photos of the original.<!--QuoteEnd</div><!--QuoteEEndMe too, and to be honest, while I'm thrilled the glove has been found and the story figured out (if this is indeed it), I'm just a little bit disappointed, for precisely this reason. Previously, replicating the Part 1/2 glove was more difficult because there were many subtle details not immediately revealed by the screenshots or promo pictures. It took a lot of work to really find out these details, let alone replicate them. Now one can look at these hi-res photos and see them much more easily.Of course there is still a ton of work to replicate them right, and to get the metal treatments right. I guess, for the better, this should raise the bar on part 1 replicas. Nobody has an excuse anymore on not getting the shapes/proportions/bends/etc right -- at least, not an excuse based on the difficulty of seeing these things <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"biggrin.gif\" />

A wealthy fan of the film might pay whatever it takes to get the guy to sell it and may therefore sell for tens of thousands. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"Big Grin\" border=\"0\" alt=\"biggrin.gif\" /> But I would imagine it would sell for many thousands since it's such an iconic piece. But I personally would find it very hard to sell... just being the guy to own it would be awesome. Charge people admission to see it. LOL

i think it should belong in one of those horror museums or something . besides even if he did pay for it , wasn't it " stolen " in the first place ? even by mistake , if the real owner of the glove whomever that would be wants it back then shouldn't they have all the rights to it ? but at least it's nice to see pics of it after all this time unlike that guy who so called owns the screen used H1 mask just laying around in his office that won't let a single person see it or give any info on it <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/whistling.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":whistling:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"whistling.gif\" /> mike,

Do us all a favor. Everyone and their dog knows the glove was used in Edward Scissorhands by Johnny Depp. Some people..... gosh.

It was used by the Chinese guy from the Bruce Lee movie Fist of Fury. Or was that the sequel to Edward Scissorhand?
