Pirates!

It all sounds strange to me with hearing about all of these pirate attacks on the news lately. I'm sure a few of you read/heard about the hostage situation with the Somali Pirates taking that Captain for several days, ending with US Navy Seals sniping them out, rescuing the Captain.Looks like the pirates have been busy since then, taking 2 or 3 more ships and attacking another US cargo ship with rockets and machine guns.What do you all think of this craziness?<a href=\"http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20090415/wl_nm/us_somalia_piracy\" target=\"_blank\">http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20090415/wl_nm/us_somalia_piracy</a> [attachment=30161:pirates.jpg]

Seems thing's are getting worse all over these days, they'll just end up putting the navy on High alert, these Pirates are no match for what we have.

IMO we need to give them a small taste of the USA has to offer. Repercussions are necessary at this point.

Its all a bit strange for me that there are Pirates operating in 2009. The other thing is I thought that no country pays up ransom money or gives in to terrorist demands these days but I heard on the news that some of these Pirates got over a million dollars in ransom money already......WTF? I find it a little disturbing that despite the sheer might of our military these little ragtag groups of thieves are able to do this. I think we need to escort a few ships through the area and bring the hammer down on these people at the first sign of hostility. They are only getting bolder and ballsier as time goes on, and we need to at least try to deter them with lethal force.If that don't work, send in Sly!
