Well when it comes down to it I can never get enough of a horror read. So i still subscribe to Fango. But after this months issue I'm starting to think twice about renewing. Well I got the new issue in the mail today and to my surprise it was thicker than usual. So i thought cool maybe they are getting with the program and adding more content or giving us more of a variety! But that wasn't the case, it was just packed with more ads than the norm. Now Fango is even sporting Dish network and Direct TV ads WTF is with these guys?! I guess it's all about the buck and not a quality horror mag. Well in the end i guess mine and everyone else who subscribes $60+ dollars for 10 mags a year does doesn't cut it. So fango feels the need to cram even more ads down our throats. If i wanted to see a million ads i would just go watch TV.Well sorry for the rant guys. I'm just wondering how every else feels about the content they put out anymore?Oh and yes i do subscribe to HH and love it.-Jared

All about the money, hell even Playboy is crammed full of Ads too. Fangoria probably isn't selling as well as they used to and to keep going they take on a lot of ads.

Imo, fangoria hasnt been worth reading since the late 80s/early 90s. The only films featured in them now are low budget flicks or japanese horror. Two of which I typically dont care to read about.I make my weekly stop to Barnes and Noble before I catch flicks at the mall, and usually pick up 2-3 magazines to skim through to pass time. Most of which are usually Rue Morge, Gore Zone, Horrorhound, and ToyFair.IMO, Id much rather subscribe to any of those magazines before I even look through a Fangoria these days. Unless its a back issue, that is. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"wink.gif\" />

I always thought Fango was kind of a rip off, so I only usually bought ones that I really wanted, but I haven't been impressed by them for a long time. I think they were a lot cooler when I was younger, but That may have been because I was so young and didn't know any better? I do love HH though, a lot better than fango.

The BEST mag out there these days is definitely Horrorhound!! Has a bit of everything... movies, masks, collectibles, etc. I've been a happy subscriber since day 1!I still get Fangoria.. but only when I get a good deal on the subscription from eBay..DaveChainsaw9

I have not renewed w/ Fango since mid/late 90's. It's just not as in depth as it use to be, and most of the content ( especially the last 4-5 years) can be found on the net everywhere it seems. Not worth the $$ to me. If they do put out a decent issue, I just pick it up at the store.

I used to really enjoy the old school Fangoria books.I think that Horrohound magazine is now the way better read and worth every dollar. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" />
