the dvd cover said it perfectly. "best halloween movie in the last 30 years."...it also had one THE best werewolf transformations that I've ever seen.bought it at walmart for $16 and can easily say its the best $16 I've spent in a loooong time.

Loved it, very atmospheric. I thought the "idiot-savant" witch with the glasses was hot in an odd sort of way, not to mention Anna Paquin. As someone mentioned earlier it felt like I was watching a Creepshow style film that centered around Halloween.

Loved it! Instead of that in the theater we get garbage like the retched Prom Night remake and Saw 6.<!--QuoteEnd</div><!--QuoteEEndwith much sarcasm...1. no CGI2. not a remake or sequel3. no 3D4. not torture porn5. no "tradtional", "predictable" hero(es)6. the cinematography is too good for a "scary" movie, the camera doesn't shake enough7. it requires some intelligence to watch and follow This movie deserved a theatrical run, and it is a huge shame it didn't get one. Don't worry though, your local theatre will have the preview for Halloween 3D soon!!!! Joke.

I'm glad everyone loves it, maybe we'll get a sequel that will have a theatrical run... I would have love to se this flick in a theater. Instead they release crap like The Fog Remake and Prom Night Remake... /sarcasm Great choice of release <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" /> /end sarcasm

It arrived today from my Blockbuster queue and I can't wait to see it tonight! I've read nothing but great reviews and I'm happy to see that my horror family agrees.<img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" />
