Anyone out there who makes their own FvsJ jacket, I am hoping I can get some help from you! I am good at sewing when it comes to following a pattern, so I am wondering if there is a pattern someone would suggest using. I know Rahl makes his own pattern, but I am not that accomplished! His recent incarnation of his VS costume has re-sparked my interest in making another one. This time around I'd like to actually make a real burlap coat. If anyone has any suggestions, I'd greatly appreciate it!!

I believe he uses a barn coat pattern which you should be able to acquire at many fabric shops.

Thanks wicked! I have never heard of a barn coat before, but I just googled it and I can see the similarities.

ARRRGH! Crap! Jo Ann does not carry that pattern, have to order it online! Also trying to decide which burlap to go with. At Jo Anns the 2 they had were "natural" and "Idaho" I am thinking the Idaho since it is a darker tan color, but not brown. The natural looks too light to start with.

Tea and coffee work well for starters. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" /> ~Jonny
