The <u><b>only</b></u> person besides Robert Englund I would want as Freddy is Robert Knepper. Now I would seriously<b> LOVE</b> the remake if Robert Knepper was Freddy he would have been perfect, he was the best character for me in prison break and every time he was on screen it was just awesome. I'll give this Jackie guy a chance and see the movie anyway when it finally comes out. <img src=\"http://i452.photobucket.com/albums/qq247/el_mariarchi_01/80826.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />Nice looking sweater, I like the way its weathered with all the little holes, looks good.

Why would Robert play freddy? This is a remake not a sequel. Have you ever seen a remake with the same actors other then a cameo?

Haley is a great actor & has been for decades.Not sure why people go after the actors in these remakes when its the guy behind the camera who deserves your scorn.Samuel Bayer who's directing this is nothing more than a hack music video director.
