Latex Thickener?

I was reading an article on latexmaskcenteral.com and they had an article about a product called V thix that can be used to thicken latex. I have tried everywhere and most are out of stock or discontinued. I need something to thicken my latex for doing mask repairs and this combined with pros aide should have been the solution. Anyone have any other methods for thickening latex?
