just like to bring this up because i think this show is one of the best cartoon shows ever made...i grew up watching this show and never gotten tired of it.......everything from the animation, writing and dark tone of this show was just perfect..kevin conroy and mark hamill are priceless as batman and the joker....im glad that im still able to enjoy my favorite show on the season dvds....it's just a shame that today's cartoon shows cannot live up the standards with the cartoon shows i grew up watching......

Well having worked on a couple of those shows as a story artist I agree with you.But you need to understand that the creative tean behind every show eventually get bored and move on and once that happens,its very difficult to capture lighting in a bottle again..thats why Batman Beyond and The Batman series didn't do as well...Bruce Timm. Glen Murakani wanted to go in a different direction..Justice league and Unlimited did well but again that's becuae it was influenced by that same show...Dont lose heart though..THUNDERCATS is being produced as we speak and it looks AWESOME!!!!Creative control..money...etc etc also play a huge factor in this.J

nothing comes close to the original animated series. I used to watch it every saturday. then as I got older, cartoon network started playing it late nights. oh,. and cant forget mask of the phantasm...

Batman the Animated Series is amazing dude! It's just got this completely awesome over all feel to it...I think it keeps it dark enough to feel like Batman but light hearted enough to stay appropriate for the kiddies. It translates very well to make it a great show for fans of all ages.

That show was really amazing and I love how Joker is in it... he's actually funny... Mask of the Phantasm was great too, I think I even like it better than the recent Batman films.

I am huge fan of anything that Bruce Timm does & the Batman series is easily his best work by far. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":thumbsup:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" /> I really enjoyed the last season & they should have done one more season.Kevin Conroy has the perfect Batman voice & Mark Hamill's Joker is classic.The Ras Al Gul episodes are phenomenal. I really like the Warner Brothers store maquettes/statues.

I have never seen a harder worker when it comes to voice over's than Mark..He was the most absolute nicest guy to be around and he loved everyone.He also did a character on a show I did for Loonatics unleashed where he played an evil dolphin...Tim Curry was also great to work with..phenomonal talent.J

I used to watch it as a kid every day after school during dinner. Really miss those days. Batman Beyond started around the time I grew out of watching cartoons like that.
