Finally picked up a real airbrush with some ebay winnings, so of course, had to go to the next step, masks. I've had this blank for a LONG time, I wonder if Steve even remembers when I got it from him Wink I was playin around getting used to the new airbrush, splattered myself pretty good with an impromptu blow out the air hole in the top of the paint jar, in my mad dash for papertowels I spotted this blank. Once I cleaned up, I had at er, and not too dissapointed with the outcome. Masks are a VERY different kinda animal from the kits I usually do, so this was a fun learning experiance, and a cool piece to add to the collection! Just need to find him some hair now. Not the best lighting to show shading and tones in, but I think you can get the idea. Any tips, advice, critique from guys that have been doin this a long time are more then welcome!<a href=\"http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v162/travsall/?action=view&current=cryptkeeper1.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img src=\"http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v162/travsall/cryptkeeper1.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /></a><a href=\"http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v162/travsall/?action=view&current=cryptkeeper2.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img src=\"http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v162/travsall/cryptkeeper2.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /></a><a href=\"http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v162/travsall/?action=view&current=cryptkeeper3.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img src=\"http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v162/travsall/cryptkeeper3.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /></a>

MUCH better pics now, nothin beats daylight for lighting. Thanks a ton guys! I'm pretty pumped with this one, something I'd shyed away from for a long time. Even when I got this blank from Steve, I was still pretty hesitant to move on it. It's nice to see I can get some results I'm happy with, now I just want a few more blanks to practice on Wink Hair is the next thing on my list, any suggestions where to source that? I've looked before, but fine grey/white/black hair is tough to track down.robocop, I did a base coat of liquid latex mixed with a little raw umber, then for the detail work, shading etc I used thinned down acrylics.<img src=\"http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v162/travsall/cryptkeeper4jpg.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v162/travsall/cryptkeeper5.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v162/travsall/cryptkeeper6.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v162/travsall/cryptkeeper7.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />
