New Nightmare was horrible, didn't like anything about it at all. Part 2 sucked too, all the gay undertones to the movie made me laugh.

I chose VS but Freddy's Dead would be my second choice.

Has to be FVSJ for me. While Freddy's Dead is far more cheesier and silly, most of the dialogue and acting in this one is just horrible. I can tolerate Freddy's dead but I can't even watch FVSJ.I probably also disliked it more than any other in the series because I had built up all these high expectations over the years the thing was in the making and then becoming very disappointed upon seing the completed result. Throw in a bunch of stupid CGI effects, fire Kane Hodder for no reason and you got yourself a unhappy fan.

Hated part 5, force feeding the model and Super Freddy c'mon. Part 6 is a very close second on my least favorite list Way too corn ball. While Freddy was scary in part 2 it had too much homoeroticism for my taste and the plot of Freddy coming into the real world didn't do it for me. I did how ever Like New Nightmare, not so much the glove in 7 tho, but Dylan (Gage from Pet Cemetery) was a creepy lil kid and Freddy was once again menacing and not slap stick. 1,3,4,and 7 are all kinda tied as my favorites for different reasons. Not a big fan of VS either. Also I was born in '80.

I want to say Freddy vs. Jason but I can't because it wasn't Englunds preformance that made me dislike the movie it was Kirzingers so I'll have to go with part 5 the dream child. Wow I can't believe some people are saying part 2.....this one was as scary if not scarier than the first movie. To each their own I guess.

Don't forget about Tom and Roseanne Barr. I was born in 1979... My favorite Nightmare on Elm Street movies were 1, 3 and 4.

I voted the worst film being part 5 the dream child, oh dear that is such a poor film haha. I was also not keen on Wes Cravens New Nightmare as I didnt like the look of the real Freddy at all. The best films for me are part 1 & 2 period. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"tongue.gif\" />
