It looks good, but I'm not sure if it looks $60 good. I've been let down with MK games before, namely Armageddon where they dumbed down the fighting system, got rid of branch combos and just made it like a cheesy arcade game so they could fit all the characters. I'll have to see more before I commit to this one.

I hated how they got rid of the characters signature fatalities.

I agree, I really loved Armageddon simply because I could finally create my own person.

Looking forward to this. I haven't played an MK game in a long long time. I've said from the start all they should do is take the originals and update the graphics and put in some new fatalities and they'd be golden.

This game looks like it's MKII with updated graphics, gorier fatalities, and some characters taken form the other MKs. Baraka had better be in it and he'd better look like he did in MK2.

I made a sweet Part 3 Jason on it, I might have to dig out my PS2 and snap a shot.Honestly this game looks really disappointing, the "interactive 3D" arenas were great in the last few games, going back to only being able to move back and forward is a HUGE downgrade. I also would much rather fight in an arena that has a huge spinning spike thing I can kick my enemies into, or one that is falling apart and getting smaller through out the fight. I also enjoyed how some maps in the past few MKs had a special weapon you could pick up and use. I wonder if they are gonna have different fighting styles in this new one, what was there like 3 styles for each character and one that included a weapon? I dont think I would pay over $20 for this new one.

Where are you guys getting the 2-D from? It still looks 3-D. The characters are computer generated still.

No more circling around each other, etc etc etc.
