I'm going to chime in here so the other logic behind cencering certain characters names can be understood.

License holder wants to look through forums and see if anyone is posting ads/threads about said character, they are not going to go through thread after thread,
they will use the search. If the said characters name is disabled when typed in a post/thread, said name will not show up in the search. :thumbsup:
Hope that cleared the confusion as why certain things are filtered.

Makes perfect sense now. Thank you! I still think the License holders needs to cool off a bit. Seems pretty stupid to do what they're doing, IMO. But oh well...

Hasn't this always been in effect? We have had filters for quite some time. M'ers just happens to be on the list now. It doesn't mean we can't still discuss Michael M'ers or anything Halloween related. We will just had to watch how we type.

And come on Brand, we've been pals for a long time, so I say this with the up most respect. How could you think Tommy is out to get ya? We've all been here a YEARS, so if anyone were to have a vendetta against you, Tommy would be the last on the list. I may not be fully understanding and maybe someone can clear it up for me. I know they've been cracking down on the sales of certain characters (whitey) but wouldnt mask making be considered an art form and therefore somthing that cant be censored? Once again not trying to make an argument, just something I was thinking about.

When an artist is creating a piece be it a mask/bust or whatever, and it's based on a character from films/comics etc etc that is trademarked, it's a likeness rights issue. Your not creating an original character, it's copying someone's work that was already created is the way it's looked at. Hope that helps.
