The 40 foot animatronic anaconda from the movie of the same name was recently on display at the California academy of science recently. Anyone else want one? Would be cool as hell for halloween. I had heard they made two of these for the movie. I\'m not sure if this is the smaller one or not. Here\'s some pics and videos of him.

Ya, there were two of them built for the movie. You can tell (for the most part) when it\'s the animatronics in the movie. In this clip it goes from cgi to animatronic at 1:21 and back to cgi at 1:40 then continues to switchback and forth. think the cg was bad in the first few attacks but was very nice as the movie went on. If you want bad anaconda cg check out syfys anaconda 3 www.youtube.com/watch?v=-H6q7F1jnR0Worst cgi ever lol.

It was made by walt contis company edge innovations. I know they did alot of research and spent 10 million on the snake, i dont know if that was for on or both that hey made.

That was cool as hell! Thanks for sharing man! Ya can\'t help but like that movie, it\'s cheesy fun! The animatronic snakes were awesome, cool to see one up close like that! Great videos too, I\'m wishing I was anywhere near that place cause I\'d be taking a trip there REAL quick, I love natural history museums, and museums in general.
