    I need help! Does anyone on this site know a really good way to make realistic blood, paint. Iam painting a mask that has blood on it and I need to know if there is a really easy way to mix certain paints to make a really good blood effect!!
    Someone please help!

    Depends on what kind of mask you are bloodying up. If it\'s a hockey mask, a lot of people mix epoxy and red/black acrylic paint. It gives a rich, gooey blood effect. If you are looking for blood on a latex mask, it\'s best to use a latex based paint and perhaps put some perma-wet on top to give it a realistic wet blood look.

    iam painting a latex mask and I have the latex paints to, but i was just wondering if anyone knew a special way to mic certain colors to make a sic looking blood color.

    Yes, I do! using a container, squeeze as much straight red as you\'ll need for the job, then add in a couple drops of straight black, stir it in and add more black if you need to. I\'ve found a good way to check the color is using a paper towel or klenex. One note, add the black very gradually, once you have too much and it goes brown, it is damn hard to get it back to the right shade, and you\'ll waste a LOT of red.

    I\'ve done this way too many times Travis....... and for some reason I still tend to do it. LOL :blink:
