Guess McBride isn\'t the bum we all thought he was. Just got news that Tyson gave up in rd 6 after enduring too many punches from McBride. So sad to see one of my favorite boxers as a child go to complete shite.... I guess his career is finally over. He\'s really been washed up since the Holyfield fight. I\'m going to have retire his avatar and sig later tonight.

Alright, back to watching boxing on HBO. Cotto v. Abdulaev.

He was one of my favorites too, well up until the Buster Douglas fight. I think his downfall started right after that match. Damn shame. Sad

Its hard to see something like happen to anyone, but I guess when you stay in a sport long enough it will happen. I just hate to see it happen to him after being so dominate in boxing. I can remember going over to my uncle\'s house when I was young and him paying close 50 bucks for one of his fights and it only lasting 2 rounds...lol....those were the days.

Just watched the fight. Really dissapointed in Tyson, and infact the shambles that the heavyweight scene is in boxing. Shame when this Legend admits to the crowd that he is just fighting to pay the bills and doesn\'t care about the sport. Then him flicking the crowd off as he was leaving because they were booing him, and rightfully so. He just seemed sad. It actually looked like he was asking for the ref for help to get up after the six round when Mcbride just pushed him down. I don\'t know just my two cents. I will stay a happy MMA enthusiast.

It really is a shame, Tyson had the makings of the best heavy weight boxer of all time, yes, even including Ali if he was trained properly, and aimed in the right direction. Now? You watch to see what crazy ass thing he\'s gonna do, if he\'s gonna eat someone\'s children, chew on his opponent, or get off one of his amazing lines, ie \"You\'re a scared coward! I\'ll fuck you till you love me faggot!\"
Don King screwed him over BIG time, and I know he has a whole lot of undiagnosed mental disorders, that\'s not great for a fighter. Should he retire? Hell yes. Can he retire? Nope, he HAS to fight I think it\'s 5 more boughts, and then he\'ll be even with the government for his tax evasion. Isn\'t that a sick thing too? He\'s made over $300 Million in his career, and right now he is negative $20 mill to the US government. Now that\'s partly Don King, lot of it though is just REALLY REALLY bad financial decisions.

This was a hell of a disapointing match, for a bit it really sounded like Tyson had turned over a new leaf. I wish it could have turned out differently for the guy but it\'s also really hard to feel sorry for a guy who obviously threw deliberate head butts and tried to break Macbrides arm. Either way, I\'m glad I didn\'t pay to see it.
