Looks good Trav. Got a great dirty feel to it. But does the weathering around the axe cut look too uniform? It\'s the only thing that stands out to me. But still, great work!

i know alot ot the masks now are coated with that brownish yelloish stuff, but i find less is more with a pt 7 mask the over all effect of the movie is what i went for so i went with a slightly off white color and muttled the paint up quite abit.i made the axe gash stand out by adding some dark to the recessed areas....having a fiberglass pull from an actual film mold i have scratches on the prop damage you can\'t see with justin\'s new abs f-7\'s so it makes it easyer..... i suggest incorprating some scratching to the propchop use somthing sharp or somthing like a dremmel to do that....

Usually I\'d agree with you Brian, that\'s what I was shooting for with my first attempt. But, I got looking at a couple pics, and a few scenes of the DVD and decided to go a different rout, dirty as all hell!! It is that bad in a few scenes, (just before the electrocution scene I believe). Gives me a bit more of a unique piece too. I did add quite a bit of scratches and damage to the prop cut, used an exacto knife and hack saw, it\'s just hard to see with the heavy weathering, the screen masks actually don\'t have a ton on them either, they all look pretty deliberate like that.

Hmmm, after looking at those pics I know what is missing.....

.....my shelf to be sitting on!!!

That is a sweet ass weathering job you did on that mask Trav, I love it! It does look like it is right out of Crystal lake.....Alberta, that is.
