Come on guys. I think all that should be said that Mark\'s Englund peice and Conor\'s are both awesome peices. Both artists are very talented and put out a great finished peice. I\'m sorry I really can\'t speak for Mark because I don\'t own any of his peices because I\'m not really a fred guy, but those fred\'s 2bloody got are simply amazing. I do own 2 of Conor\'s peices and I don\'t think I\'d every sell them. Basically what I\'m trying to say is both of their Englund peices are great, but they both have very different price tags.

BOTTOM LINE is that BOTH Conor and Mark have made absolute outstanding "replicas if you will" of Robert . this thread should be and better be about Pauls new addition to his collection and not some pitifull whining garbage of who\'s is better . that subject has been brought up way too much and needs to stop . some people on here like to say that this should be an "adult" message board because we are more mature that the younger people but still we whine about stupid $h!t like this . i just don\'t understand why 2 different guys can\'t have nice similar sculpts of a certain person and only 1 person can have the better one .

WOW This isn\'t warrented. Yeah Conor made this somewhat from his lifecast, but if you look at his life cast you\'ll see that he did ALOT of his own sculpting on this piece and it really also lies in the finishing work as well. It wouldn\'t matter if it was done on a lifecast or not, its all in the finishing work. If the finishing worked sucked then so will the piece. Mark is one of my favorite mask makers and persons in this hobby and puts out TREMENDOUS products that I have boughten and loved. These are 2 totally different pieces, with totally different pricetags, from totally different artists. So please don\'t compare the two. If DAN(corblimey) see this thread can you please post a pic of Conors lifecast, so all can see the extra that was done and that it wasn\'t just clay put on the lifecast.

Yeah what Paul said they are both extremely talented artists! Conor did more than throw clay on a lifecast, he gave the lifecast a diiferent expression, rather than a staight foward look. Plus not to mention the hair work, eyes, teetth, and tremendous paint job. But as I said Mark and Conor are great artists. And congrats paul on the awesome new peice, looks so life like! And I too want to know where the sweater came from.

I love the damn thing. Conor is a great artist, I think we all know that. Silicone pieces have a life of their own and takes a piece to a whole new level. A life cast makes it about %80 easier as far as the likeness goes, but of coarse the finishing work will "make or break" it. Conor "made" it. When I worked for Rick Baker sculpting the Grinch appliances, yeah, I\'m full of shit.....
Conor whooped my ass on this one, no big deal. If Paul has a piece in his collection and happens to find a better replica, he gets rid of the one he has and jumps on the other. It\'s natural.
Just remember folks, no matter how good you think you are, there is always someone better
I love Paul to death, he buys almost everything I make. And waits a long time for them. Sometimes he gets a little harrasing and emails like once EVERY SINGLE MONTH or two, sheesh, talk about pushy <_<
I probably misinterpreted jg\'s comment. It was just a harsh reminder that Conor kicked my ass B)
That\'s alright.... I can beat him arm wrestling!

I own the robert englund lifecast and looking at it and that he did do alot of his own sculpting and alot more detail. Both mark and conor does a great job.
