I was wondering if anyone had any ideas how to make the chain bar on my chainsaw look like it has been sawing through meat all day long? I wanted to give it a bloody look with some meat looking chunks spread across the bar. But the only trick is how to make that look wet but be permanent? And what should I make the small chunks out of?

Well, if you have no plans to ever use the chainsaw try slapping some epoxy on there, let it dry, paint it up bloody it and put some perma wet on it.

Yeah this Chainsaw is strictly for Haunt use, I weathered it up abit, and got a non-usable 25" chainbar. I also tweaked with the muffler alittle, now this baby roars so load. Just any type of epoxy I take it?

I\'ve got a pretty good method but it involves cats.

    Nice!
I went to Hobby Lobby today to get some supplies. And I got some red paint that I\'m going to use, and some thick clear coating paint. I\'m going to test the clear coat with red first on a old chainbar, then test the red paint with the clear coat on top. Then I\'m going to mix the red paint and the clear coat to see which one looks best. I\'m thinking about using little peices of almonds in the mixture to look like bone framents. I want the little kiddies to see this sh*t when I put the chainbar up to there face, so I figured the more detail the better.

use bits of dry latex covered in blood, basicaly take flesh latex and pour it out on that packing foam stuff they ship mirrors and the like, you know, the real thin sheets of bubblfoam(not bubble wrap) i guess would be the best name for it, let it dry and pull it off, it makes a great skin texture, and when you add blood the blood sits in the cracks, looks very meaty, just latex it on the chain or attach it using some epoxy as stated!!!

Thanks for all of the help. I\'m also thinking about getting a chain and using a dremel to dull down the points. Then cutting the chain so it doesn\'t touch the gear, and using epoxy stick it to the chainbar. I did this last year but used a bike chain, and some many people freaked out and said "He\'s got a chain on it!\' until some little kid goes "That\'s a bike chain..." Man did I feel like a retard. Sad
