Quote:Great stuff everyone! The Marshall was re-worked to have that brown sound high gain mod. The inside was reworked with a turret board, and all the resistors and such were changed out. So all the insides are new/moded with the exeption of the caps and transformers. Sounds amazing with the volume cranked, but now it can actually get decent tones at a low volume.

Killer rig, Steve! I\'ve been playing guitar for alittle over 10 years now. My main setup is an early 80\'s (I think) Marshall JCM800 50W head (gain has been modded) with two 4x12 Peavey cabs that have Celestions in them (can\'t remember the wattage...they\'re closed backs). I only play through a half stack at a time, though...almost broke my windows with the full stack
![]() My main guitars are a \'96 Gibson Nighthawk Standard and a \'94 Fender Strat Plus Deluxe. I also have a Kramer beater guitar, old Harmony acoustic, and an Alvarez 12 string. For effects I have a Deluxe Memory Man (reissue), DOD Octoplus, Arion digital delay, ProCo RAT, Crybaby Wah, Ebow, and a Whirlwind A/B selector.

Heres some pics of the JEM I sold not too long ago. I had that and 2 Prestige RG1570\'s that I was playing through a Laney rig. I remember when I first opened up the box with the JEM, I was so happy. Thats why I took the pics. Now, because of a nagging wrist injury I don\'t play any longer and sold everything. threads like these really get me wanting to play again though.

Some pics of the drumset. I know the thread is only for guitars but what the hell I\'d figured I\'d toss i t in there and cause everyone loves it when Goaliehack gets mad ![]() ![]() ![]()

my camera is having issues
and I am too lazy to crop or rotate the image but I still wanted to get in on this thread  I bought this setup when I realized that most of the black sabbath songs I have learned on guitar would probably be more fun to play on the bass. I play just for fun and it is a lot easier for me to learn basslines than anything else...thus less discouraging. and I don\'t have to buy tons of pedals to make the songs I\'ve learned sound as recorded. I enjoy using ibanez tubescreamer and digitech bass synth wah
