I just saw this on another board and wasn\'t quite sure what to think! I had no idea this was being made and apparently it\'s already completed.
NOTLD obvious classic and remade already....

    <span style=\'font-size:14pt;line-height:100%\'>But this time in 3D!</span>

Perhaps it would be better as an original movie with the 3D twist but it definitely looks interesting. You\'ll see a familiar face right off...I\'ll certainly check it out Tongue .

Looks like it could be cool as far as a "re-imagining" of a movie goes. I kinda think the 3d aspect is gimmicky. Aside from that it\'s good to see Sid again Smile

I agree with Pugz, this is gonna bomb. Just because something is public domain everyone thinks it\'s a free for all to smash something good. Glad Sid\'s in it, makes it that much more tolerable.

Just being 3-D makes everything better in itself! I\'ve always wondered what it\'d be like to have a zombie reach out for me...

Trailer looked sort of cool other than that weird text message I hope that wasn\'t from a zombie. As for the 3d glasses, how is someone going to be able to watch a film in red and blue glasses?

It looks like they just keep further altering the story. No comment, except I like the 1990 version best and I don\'t think this new one will be better.

I\'m excited to see how this goes. It doesn\'t seem very mainstream, so I\'m going to look for it.
By the way Hauntmaster, I think they\'re figuring out how to make 3-D w/out glasses... I think they are going to try this with King Kong a little later after its release, but thats all I know, and I don\'t really know if I understood it correctly.

Nothing is going to be better than the original NotLD. I still find the music from the original in my head from time to time. The 1990 remake was good, but just didn\'t last with me like the original. I hated that Ben was actually a zombie at the end. And I didn\'t care too much for the new ass kicking Barbara. I liked how the classic one just went insane, and eventually taken out by her own brother she was so worried about.

This new 3D is great and all, I\'ll definately check up on this. BUT WHY A REMAKE? Just because it\'s public domain? I know if these guys didn\'t, someone else would...but still. That text message in the trailer just makes me shake my head. ooooh how modern-ized!
