It really depends on preference. Some people want screen accuracy, whereas the Part 8 mask has a lot to it as far as the way the straps attach, to the special connector ring in the back. If you have a nice mask and just wanna wear it/show it off this weekend, go to the fabric store and get some black woven belt material. I believe it is a nylon weave (which means you have to burn the ends a little after cutting so it doesn\'t unravel) but it feels and looks almost like seat belt or a belt on a lifejacket. Go to staples and get a pack of brass jumbo paper fasteners or brads as they are some times called. Use these to fasten the straps to the mask. They look like brass snaps when done. A quick and easy way to strap a Hockey Mask. Then later when you have more time, you can take the old ones off and upgrade to more screen accurate straps if you choose. I know what it\'s like to be pressed for time, man. I am still finishing my strapping and my axe that I\'m gonna carry...AND IT\'s THURSDAY already!
