First, I never said it was a reboot but it might as well be. New cast, new director, etc. I wouldn't be surprised if we see some of the same villains and from what I understand they are taking Pete back to high school (leaning more towards Ultimate Spider-man) and in the current trilogy he is in college. I guess calling Hulk a reboot is technically incorrect it's just that Universal made Ang Lee's movie a footnote in the opening credits, which is probably what Sony will do if indeed they acknowledge Raimi's films at all in the new one. Second, no I don't think the Raimi ones are trash. 1 and 2 are great; love 'em. That being said, 3 wasn't so great. I just think something needed to be done in order to fix the path it was taking. Are Sony's actions the right path? Maybe not, but I'm willing to give it a chance just based on what Universal did with the second Hulk that's all I was saying.
