    Quite awhile ago, I used colorant from Monster Makers, it came brown & if you add a few drops to your latex you will get a light skin tone, the more you add the darker you will get, I actually like having a more white latex base to paint over. You will have no problems with adding colorant but remember the color you see when wet is lighter then when it dries so be careful. Honestly I think you should just use the normal latex color then just base coat it but try the colorant & see how it works for you, also if you add it to your whole bucket of latex, all of it will be skin tone, so this could cause a problem when trying to paint other colored masks. I prefer a light canvas to paint on but to each his own.
